Synopsis
A child of the military, Kevin is always the new kid in school, shunned, lonely, and friendless. When his teacher reaches out to him with a thoughtful act of kindness, it changes his life in a way she never could have imagined. Grown-up Kevin Brackett, now a District Attorney, attributes his success to his 5th grade teacher Mrs. McSheehy, who ignited a love of reading in his heart through the classic book, “Where the Red Fern Grows.”
