 The Long Island Film/TV Foundation, a non-profit organization comprised of industry executives and academic professionals, realizes the importance of the independent filmmaker to this great industry and that they should be honored for their efforts.
Long Island and its surrounding areas are rich in talent and a variety of scenic locations. The growth of this industry is in the expansion of  production here on Long Island. We are becoming the "Mecca" of film productions and it is only the beginning.
In the not too distant future, we hope the day will come, that Long Island will have its very own major production facility, that will dramatically contribute to the economic development of this region.
