Synopsis
In a conversation with his American sister Irene, Cristian, originally from Ecuador, shares for the first time his story with her.
The film gives us a close look to one of the most invisible and yet common situations in life, when Cristian confronts his past and his parents over their decision to immigrate to the US, while leaving him behind. These heart wrenching conversations unfold a story of separation, adaptation, repeated patterns and conciliation.
It is a story of love from afar.
