A note from Sean…
I just received a trophy for my win of the National Edward R. Murrow Award! I didn’t realize the scope of this award until I looked it up…

At Spectrum News, we have two regular digital series that we’re working on and several limited series. For one of our digital series, Street Level, we received a National Edward R. Murrow Award, an award that is amongst the most prestigious in news, in the category of “Excellence in Video, Digital News Organization, Large Market” for our episode titled “Northern Blvd”.
This award means a lot to me because I was given complete creative freedom to choose the right music, feel, pace, emotion, look and style of this episode and series. I cut this episode together and everyone on my team and above, loved it. Sure, I had some notes to address, but overall, I thought I knocked it out of the park. This award reaffirms that thought.
